On Thursday 1st February as part of the training week Dr Paul Goodwin of Cardiff University, ran an IP Law workshop investigating what IP Law is, and why it is important for students to have a deeper understanding of the subject.
On Friday 2nd February the CDT brought in Dr Rebecca Steliaros from London to run a day session on Grant Writing, examining good grant proposals compared with unsuccessful grants. This hands on workshop is run every two years and was opened to researchers in School of Chemistry.
