The EPSRC Funded CDT in Catalysis held its annual symposium today at Cardiff University. A collaboration between Bath, Bristol and Cardiff Universities, the centre provides PhD training across both heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, coupled with reaction engineering.
The symposium, attended by academics from the three partner universities, industry and members of the Cardiff Catalysis Institute and Cardiff School of Chemistry, gave both PhD and MRes students the opportunity to present their work in the form of PowerPoint presentations and Poster presentations, and take questions from a knowledgeable audience, adding to their training experience.
The day was a great success thanks to the hard work from all our students and staff.
